Mr. Coughlin has always had a strong desire to help those in need of assistance, and a true passion for excellence. After graduating from the University of California Davis, in 1983, Mr. Coughlin’s passions led him to the insurance field, and there his journey began, founding Timothy J. Coughlin in 1984. Mr. Coughlin founded his company on the principles of personalized service, and first class customer support. Insurance can prove to be daunting a task to those who truly need it the most. Although, Mr. Coughlin has built his business by helping those people identify, secure, and maintain appropriate coverage long term. Timothy J. Coughlin now actively manages more than 1,000 small business, and self-employed clients, many of which having been with him for more than 10 years.

Mr. Coughlin’s passion for excellence and insatiable desire to help people has never faltered throughout his career. His desire assist people in all areas of their financial life led him to a Certified Financial Planner designation in 1990, National Association of Health Underwriters, Life Underwriting Council, and several other continuing education opportunities. Mr. Coughlin has been recognized several times on a national level for various achievements in the areas of Quality, and Sales. Timothy J. Coughlin has also been recognized on various occasions by multiple carriers with distinctions such as Kaiser-Platinum Circle, Western Health-Summit Club, Blue Cross-Court of Champions, Century & John Hancock-Honor Clubs, and sits on the Broker Advisory Council for several leading carriers.
